John Frieda
John Frieda was a hair stylist from London who started his career in 1968 and opened his first salon in 1976. His best-selling range, Frizz Ease was launched in 1990 and has since remained as one of the go-to range of products targeted at controlling frizz ever since.

Im sure many of you have heard about John Frieda Hair Care right?
Well, thats because today, John Frieda is endorsed by countless of celebrity stylists across the world, such as Harry Josh, Kerry Warn (The hair designer of the movie, "The Great Gatsby" :O) and also, our very own Singapore award winning hairstylists, Dexter Ng and Ken Hong!

With 4 range of products - Brilliant Brunette, Frizz-Ease, Full Repair and Luxurious Volume , John Frieda products cater specifically to the individual hair needs.

Today, I will be introducing the new Frizz Ease range that has recently been revamped to a brand new look!

Not only has the Frizz-Ease for Straight hair been improved with keratin, a new range, Dream Curls, has been launched for ladies with permed or natural waves!
Frizz Ease Flawlessly Straight Conditioner (left) and Shampoo (right), 250ml.
Both retails for S$15.90 each
I was very honored and privileged to be able to first try out the John Frieda Frizz Ease range on the first John Frieda Day at Next Salon @ Ion ! And omg... Dexter Ng actually worked on my hair!
(Fan girl mode on)
As you all know, I've recently just permed my hair and what better than to try the new Frizz Ease Dream Curls on me?

Here are the few major problems I normally face with permed hair:
- Frizz
- Unstructured curls/waves
- Unmanageability
How my hair looked after the wash&blow session at Next Salon. Hello~ Vavavoom hair!
My curls are so much more structured, more manageable, shinier, and a ton less frizzy.
Really glad to have had my hair taken care of by Dexter that day, he was such a joy to be around :)
Graced the event with Valerie that day and I felt like a midget next to our very own Miss Singapore hehe ><

I was then given the same products used to bring home to test it out. Let's see if im able to achieve such nice, soft and manageable curls in the comfort of my own home..

Before:
Step 1: Shampoo and Condition
I first shampoo-ed my hair with the Frizz Ease Dream Curls Shampoo 250ml (S$15.90), followed by the Frizz Ease Dream Curls Conditioner 250ml (S$15.90)
Afterwards, I used the Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Hair Mask 150ml (S$16.90) and left it in there for 5-10 mins.
What I like to do when i come out of the shower
Step 2: Define Curls
Spray the Frizz Ease Dream Curls Daily Styling Spray 200ml (S$16.90) all over, twist & scrunch hair

Step 3: Serum
To give the hair more shine and manageability, I topped it off with the award-winning Frizz Ease Original Six Effects Serum 60ml (S$16.90) when my hair is still a little wet/damp.
This serum eliminates frizz, protects hair from humidity, protects from heat, smoothes, hydrates and tames!
Step 4: Dry Hair
You may choose to let it air dry, or use a blow-dryer. In this case, I used a blow-dryer and set it to the cold setting (my hair dryer has this function to minimize damage done to the hair).
Also, I attached a diffuser to my hair-dryer for more defined curls.
Step 5: Smile, and you're good to go!
Either follow up with a short dash of blow-drying, or leave it to air dry and you're good to go!
After:
Hello smooth hair and bouncy curls, goodbye frizz and  unmanageability ~
Now here's my #jftransformation!
CAN YOU BELIEVE I DID ALL THESE BY MYSELF AT HOME?
Well, now you can too!
Really amazed by the John Frieda Frizz Ease range, as well as its affordability.
As you guys can see from the before and after photo above, my hair has really gotten so much more shiny, and less frizzy with just one use.
Note, these photos are actually raw and non-filtered. I'M SO IMPRESSED!
