Family Time

Headed for a well-needed family breakfast on Deepavali (yesterday) and we decided to head to Tim Ho Wan since it's so rare that all of us were free.

 Finding a common time slot amongst all 5 of us was always a huge problem because everyone's so caught up with their own lives they barely have time for anything- I was so busy, my sis stays in hall, and my sis is prepping for her O levels etc

But since it was a public holiday and we havent had breakfast as a family for quite some time already, we made that day an exception.

Despite having to queue for 1 hour just to get in, it was well worth it.

Prepare to look at all the food photos (SPAM, BTW), and try not to drool in front of your computer screen okay! I found it really hard to not salivate while editing these photos hahaha.

In this set, I was supposed to play the role of a Dark Widow (Joel the photographer named it). 

Mysterious, sad, solemn, fierce, dark and in agony (?)

Hahah. It was my first time working on a piece like that and it was such an interesting experience for me. As most of you guys already know, I have been modelling for a year now, and most, in fact ALL of the shoots ive done are sweet, and smiley ones.

Attempting the straight face was always a challenge for me because i've always thought I looked better & slimmer smiling.

Joel's a close friend to a very good friend of mine, so thankfully we already knew each other prior to the shoot.

To be honest, I was always a fan of his work and i found myself liking most of the photos in his photography album each I saw them shared on my timeline.

HAHA and I even showed some of my friends his work before, LOL!
