Aloha! So after Mellben Seafood, Matt and I went back to one of out favourite international buffet cafe at Asian Market Cafe  once more to celebrate our 9th month properly.

Although we were 1 week late (our 9th month was one day after Valentines day), we figured that since we already blew one night away celebrating Valentines day, we should postpone the 9th month celebration after mid terms instead.

So we did!

We love AMC because it has the best local food and one for the freshest cold seafood spread over

At least from the last time we could remember :)

And it's not thattt pricey / crowded as compared to the other more famous international buffet places out there.

It's been 3 weeks since school started and goshhh.. i've been pretty busy! I hope you guys don't feel neglected:(

So here I am back here for a little while to update you guys on my life and to remind you all that you're not forgotten!

Week 3 has just started and I was greeted by a presentation and a test. BOO

The rest of my week will be filled up by two other tests, and all that scrambling and panicking :( 

To all of you having exams out there, I FEEL YOU! But let's all hang in there and it will all be gone in a flash, keep praying! 

(easier said than done I know. HAHAHHA, but positivity all the way!!!!)

 Headed back to "try" to crash before heading out for late dinner with my long lost JC girls. Missed them so much!

We decided to try the legendary Shiok maki at Koh Grill and Sushi Bar (?) (Im sorry guys, too lazy to google) 

Basically, there are two types of Shiok Maki. Shiok maki 1 & 2.

Shiok Maki 1 contains Ungai (eel), and Shiok Maki 2 contains tempura (fried prawn). Both are all wrapped with generous slices of salmon sashimi, drenched with their special sauce. Topped with ebiko roe. YUM

Verdict? I preferred the Shiok Maki 2 better as I liked the texture of it. A little crunchy on the inside, and chewy on the outside. Shiok Maki 1, was however, a little too sweet for me. The Special sauce on the Maki already carried a little sweetness on its own. Ungai sauce on top of that? nah, a little too much. 

Just a little, though :) Still YUM. 

I'd still go back again if it wasn't for the waiting time! We waited for 35 mins and only got seated at 9 pm :( 

Next up, Royal Pudding from Paris Baguette ($4.50)

Verdict: Not as good as what everyone made it out to be! It was a little too runny, in fact, its texture reminded me more of custard/melted custard than pudding!

Good for milk lovers as this is super milky! Pretty delish , if you don't mind it tasting like melted vanilla ice cream from Macdonald's. 

Next, it was Waikiki! 

For those that don't know what Waikiki is, its an annual sporting event where the school comes together to play all kinds of beach sports @ Sentosa. Some games are actually open to the public too, like the Volleyball event I was in. 

Had to wake up @ 630 am to get my ass down to the beach at 845 am for my 9 am match. It was craycray.

Turned out our opponents walked-over the first round. Meh. I could have slept longer !!! >:(

So in-between the next few matches we had lots of waiting time to do our own stuff. What else can we girls do at Sentosa? GET A TAN! *Throws confetti*

The sun was super ideal for sun-tanning that day. really prayed damn hard the prev few days for it not to rain and thank god it didn't rain when I was at the beach. Hooray.

Finally tried Swee Choon after talking about trying it for 8 months. YUMMM

Cried a waterfall that night. No wait, understatement. 

Cried a "Niagara Falls" LOL. 

This was a bad move cause I woke up with really small and puffy eyes the next day. AKA Valentines day :( 

I couldn't even put on eye make up that day cause my eyes kept tearing. Sighpie.
