SHOP FOR GOOD is back!
For those that don't know about this wonderful and really meaningful campaign, Shop For Good is basically an initiative by TANGS to provide a platform for all brands and products who have charity initiatives but with limited resources to come together and amplify the reach and results of their charitable works.

Shop For Good allows brands and customers to buy and sell products that support a social cause. Think about it, every single purchase you make, from now till 1st November, you're doing something good because TANGS will be donating $0.50 for every receipt generated to the Singapore Children's Society (up to a max of $100,000)

I took a tour around TANGS at Tang Plaza the other day during their #ShopForGood shopping event , and I was pleasantly surprised to see the entire store covered in posters and signs that remind their shoppers about the impact they are making with every purchase.
For make up, skincare and beauty lovers, you will be glad to know that there are a TON of participating brands for the #ShopForGood campaign, you can view the whole list of participating brands and their efforts here

I got my caricature drawn my a super talented caricature artiste on the spot. A shoutout to Alan for the lovely painting :>
Amongst the many participating beauty brands, you will be able to find NARS, Sulwhasoo, Shiseido, Laneige, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown and more!
Why get it from elsewhere when you can get it from TANGS and help someone in need by shopping?
Food For Good at TANGS Market
Apart from shopping, I'm super happy that you can even do good while eating???!
At the TANGS Market located at Tang Plaza, you can enjoy our local Singaporean delights drinks if you're tired from shopping around all day.
I got myself a cuppa fresh watermelon juice from SF Juices and this too, is part of the #ShopForGood campaign!
50% proceeds per 16oz of Watermelon Juice purchased goes into helping the Food For Families Programme by the Children's Wishing Well

One Olive
Workshops are a common sight at TANGS and I thought that was something that made the store stand out. Every vendor, every brand has its own identity, flavour and style.
Upon entering the third level, I was greeted by a sight of beautiful blooms and a few ladies attending a flower arrangement workshop.
You can purchase these pretty cupcake flowers from One Olive and all proceeds will go to the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation.

The highlight of the day was probably meeting Mediacorp Artiste, Edmund Chen in person!
I, like many other fans that were present, couldn't contain our excitement when he graced the event to talk about Cherish Spring , an art collaboration he designed with Samsonite.
I didn't know he could draw ???! But apparently he had this hidden talent and he can now put it to good use with these gorgeous Samsonite luggages.
All proceeds will be donated to the Thye Hua Kwan Hospital during TANGS’ very first SilentAuction on 29 October, 7pm

We then moved to Royal Selangor and I got to make my own Pewter Bowl, courtesy of School of Hard Knocks.
Its really not as easy! hahaha but it was really really fun, a great activity for families and kids to learn the traditional ways of making bowls like these
I feel that apart from raising money, we should also do our part to help raise awareness about this socially-conscious and meaningful campaign to build a better community.
Let's do our part, spread the word!
